Death is a time of transcendence to another realm of existence - a sacred time of release and acceptance.
When that time has come, a kahuna is called to the bedside of the dead or dying person. In the presence of their 'ohana the person is blessed, then guided in the process of accepting their situation, releasing old debts, and forgiving old grudges. Last wishes are made from a place of unconditional love, and family members are instructed in how to honor the person's memory with integrity. The family is then instructed in the nature of death, what the dying person may expect, and how to make the transition easy, elegant and beautiful.
After death has occurred, the body is anointed and prepared for burial or cremation. Funeral services are held at the discretion of the 'ohana with the kahuna facilitating in whatever way the family requests.
All services are available on a donation basis.
